3pm Worship Service on January 16th

We've had to change the time of our Sunday Worship Service on January 16th, so we'll be gathering at 3pm instead of 10:30am.

Pastor Tom Magness will be starting a new teaching series looking at the fundamentals of the Christian life, called "Ground Floor Christianity".

We'll be following the current Welsh government guidelines for worship services (e.g. wearing masks unless exempt), but the service will still include songs, prayers and Bible teaching, and refreshments will be available afterwards.

Sermon: Facing the World (1 Peter 1:13-19)

In this message, we discover how the Christian hope of heaven can help us to face the world, and how we will live in the world if we are conscious of the cost of our hope.

A Midweek Message: Humility and the Kingdom of God (Matthew 18)

In the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 18, Jesus says: "Unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.  Whoever humbles himself like this child will be greatest in the kingdom of heaven."

In this message, Brandon Oram explains why humility is such a necessary part of life in God's kingdom.

Another Midweek Message: The Price of Admission to the Table (Matthew 16)

Salvation is offered freely to all - there is nothing we can do to earn it.  But there is a cost to following Jesus Christ.  In the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 16, Jesus calls us to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow him.

In this sermon, preached before we shared bread and wine in Communion, we consider what we may have to sacrifice in order to sit at Christ's table.
