Sunday Morning In-Person Worship Service, livestreamed on 4th July

We've continuing to hold regular, in-person worship services on Sunday mornings at 10:30am in the United Church building on New Street.  It's great that regulations now allow us to sing together (although we still keep masks on) and that we can have fellowship in the church garden after the service.

Last Sunday, I taught from the Old Testament book of Daniel, chapter 8, in which we're given more specific details about some of the kingdoms that were dreamt about earlier in the book.  Just like a jigsaw, we can put the pieces together to get an overall picture of what God was making known, and we learn that, within the vision of Daniel, there is also a message to us.

The Midweek Message: Growing up in every way (Ephesians 4)

In Ephesians 4, the Apostle Paul lists teaching roles within the New Testament church.  What does the Bible teach us about Apostles, Prophets and Evangelists?

Paul also tells us that one of the main roles of a pastor is to equip believers with the truth, which will then enable them to serve others.  The church community grows up as people lovingly minister to each other.
