Just Another Melodic Monday - Good and Faithful Shepherd

The school holidays have just started!  It seemed appropriate, therefore, to have a children's song for this week's Melodic Monday tune.  Here is "Good and Faithful Shepherd" from the album "Listen Up!" by Sovereign Grace Music.

Just Another Melodic Monday - The Good Song

We're grateful for the children that come regularly to our Sunday morning services.  Sometimes they outnumber the adults!  As there are so many children present, we always sing a children's song before they go to Sunday school.

Seeds Family Worship take Bible verses and set them to music, and here is one of their songs, combining Psalm 34:10 with Romans 8:28.  The children love this song (and the actions) but singing it as a round is a challenge for some of the adults!

Just Another Melodic Monday - Make Me Wise

We sang this children's song for the first time last Sunday morning.  It reminds us of the importance of wisdom, and provides a great opportunity to explain to the young ones what it means to be wise!

Just Another Melodic Monday - Remember The Lord

A children's song by Colin Buchanan, reminding us to exercise our faith in the Lord - especially suitable for the first day back at school!  Visit his website at colinbuchanan.com.au to listen to some of his songs and to purchase albums and sheet music.

Just Another Melodic Monday - Do Not Be Anxious

Seeds Family Worship simply take bible verses and add music!  Their aim is to provide spiritual songs that children can enjoy with their parents while simultaneously learning God's Word.  Here's an example from the "Seeds of Courage" album: "Do not be anxious" (Philippians 4:6-7).

Just Another Melodic Monday - For God so loved the world

Here is a children's song that we sang for the first time together yesterday.  Next week, we'll be singing it again and introducing a round!
